Yoga Socks, Mats and Accessories

Yoga socks may be used because yoga is a hard discipline for the beginning to the skillful person. The asanas, or postures are not meant to be painful, but this does not mean that they are not difficult. Never extend yourself too much to cause uncomfortableness. With practice,relaxing into the stretches with ease should be seen.

However, for novice there are some tips when practicing yoga. Release all thoughts, good or bad before you begin. Turn off your phone and don’t answer the door, you need peace and quiet. Make sure you take relaxing and warm shower and to wear comfortable clothes that will allow you to stretch easily. You can use aromatherapy to clear your thoughts and relax you. You will want to purchase a yoga mat and optional yoga socks so you can rest on the pad and not slip on the floor. Your shoes and socks being off will be more comfortable and that your hair is either comfortable pulled back or not, whatever feels better. Whatever is your preference, Turn the lights low (or you can do it in the sunlight) You may want to turn some relaxing music of nature or on the beach. Belts or ropes can be used to grab your legs for a better stretch, which should feel pleasing. You may use block to prop yourself up or sitting or standing posture poses.

 

 

You may not be able to attain some postures without the proper support . Please remember that although the postures are important, executing them perfectly is not the goal. Yoga is not just an exercise; it includes the intelligence and mind and the reflection in action. These tools make it easier for you as a novice in yoga, but you will find that sooner or later you will not need them. Some people like taking a yoga class so they are guided the right way. There is nothing wrong with this, but make note that only you can take your mind and spirit as far as it was meant to go, alone.
